Beginner guide

Whether you are here for the story, the collection, or the competition, these fundamentals will get your party fighting fit from the first summon to the endgame arenas.

Getting started

Rise of Eros runs entirely in your web browser — no client to install, no download to manage. Create an account, complete the tutorial stages, and you will have enough currency for your first summons within the first hour. Save your early pulls for a banner whose featured goddess fits a role your party lacks.

01Summon with a plan

Gacha banners rotate regularly. Check the featured goddess, her role, and how she slots into your team before spending currency. Free players should hoard for limited banners; spenders get the most value from step-up deals.

02Balance your party

A reliable squad covers four bases: single-target damage, area damage, healing, and shielding or debuff control. Two damage dealers, one healer, and one support is a solid template for story content.

03Master the combat rhythm

Fights are turn-based but fast. Watch enemy behavior, hold ultimate skills for the right phase of a boss fight, and interrupt heavy attacks when a goddess's kit allows it.

04Farm Relics early

Relics are the endgame multiplier. They boost Ultimate skills and grant set bonuses. Start farming Relic stages as soon as they unlock — a good set outperforms raw levels.

05Invest in gear and ascension

Level up gear that matches a goddess's role, and ascend her with duplicates. Ascension raises level caps and strengthens skills, which matters far more than raw summon count.

06Play the events

Seasonal events are the fastest source of premium currency, exclusive goddesses, and Relic materials. Even casual players should clear event story stages for the milestone rewards.

Building toward the endgame

Once the main story is done, three pillars keep the game alive: Relic farming, PVP, and live events. PVP arenas reward well-rounded rosters and smart counter-picking, so keep a bench of situationally strong goddesses rather than pouring everything into one squad.

Daily and weekly quests refresh reliably and quietly bank most of your income. A five-minute daily routine — sweep stages, run the arena, collect idle rewards — keeps progress steady even on busy days.

Finally, join the community. Events, banner schedules, and tier lists are discussed openly by veteran players, and a few minutes of research before each banner saves months of regret.

Common beginner mistakes

  • Spending currency on every banner. Patience beats impulse; limited banners reward saved resources.
  • Ignoring supports. A healer or shielder often outperforms a third damage dealer in hard stages.
  • Neglecting the idle systems. Offline and idle rewards accumulate fast — collect them daily without fail.
  • Hoarding duplicates. Ascension with duplicate goddesses is usually a better investment than keeping spares.

A steady progression rhythm

The daily loop is easy to fall into and hard to put down. Log in, collect your idle rewards, sweep the stages you have already cleared, spend your energy on the highest-value farm you can reach, then spend a few minutes in the arena. That rhythm carries you through the early weeks, and the milestones keep coming just fast enough to stay motivating. Treat the game as a marathon, not a sprint, and you will outpace most players who burn their resources in the first days.
